Cloud White by Benjamin Moore is often the go-to white for interior designers and color consultants but I'm going to tell you why there is no such thing as a go-to white for any home and what you need to know about Cloud White.
There is no way you can understand this paint color based on a small paint chip even the slightly larger ones that you get at the local Benjamin Moore paint store. The only way you can truly grasp any understanding of Cloud White is by painting a large sample board. Having said that, let’s take a closer look at Cloud White in the video down below.
As you can see, Cloud White is a warm white, but depending on what other colors you compare it to it could be cooler or warmer. That's why I will never say Cloud White is a warm white until I compare it with either a fixed or furnished element in any room.
I highly recommend you to compare Cloud White with your fixed or furnished elements to make sure its the correct white paint for the interior of your home. Cloud White can work with both cool and warm undertones. However, you need to be careful because it will react differently depending on the type of lighting and colors of your fixed elements.
I do recommend that you explore some other interior white paints such as Benjamin Moore White Dove and or Sherwin Williams Snowbound to get a better feel on how the undertones will play a significant role when it comes to pairing the correct white paint for your room.
