I feel like my guardian angels were watching over my painting project when I magically stumbled across Jacob Owen’s Designs on Google!!! Because his consults were affordable I took the leap and purchased the 2 room consult. Jacob immediately contacted me with next steps and our appt was booked within a week! He provided a guru of paint options that not only were beautiful but completely matched everything in my home. His passion for color clearly shown thru as we discussed my thoughts & feelings. I do not have a high end home but that didn’t matter. And his recommendations were from my photos! He is absolutely amazing in the colors he recommended. Once again, Jacob has done miracles! I had a new townhouse built and under time restraints to pick out everything for my townhouse from the hardware to the paint. The carpet was one of the last things that was picked out, and I was assured that it was neutral, and would go with everything . much to my surprise during the walk-through the carpet had purple undertones. This was the carpet in my master bedroom that had agreeable gray on the walls so agreeable gray was not so agreeable with the carpet and they fought constantly. Jacob did an awesome job of making everybody happy and agreeable! I chose abalone by Sherwin-Williams and it was amazing!

After consulting with another paint color expert about our very orange kitchen, I was left feeling more confused with her paint suggestions to “try this” for our kitchen cabinets. With the cost of professional cabinet painting, I wasn’t ready to just “try” something! Thankfully, after further searching I found Jacob Owens Designs. After Jacob’s online consult, his color kit arrived the next morning and included three light and three warmer color suggestions for our kitchen cabinets, along with our purchased add-on option that included three wall paint color suggestions. In his kit, Jacob discussed undertones and helped me to understand that our fifteen-year-old granite needed a cabinet color that suited its “earthy” gold and rust colors. As a result, I chose one of his warmer color suggestions. Jacob’s color kit is very organized and has so much helpful information. Of course, I immediately headed for the paint store for paint cards and samples! Thank you, Jacob, for helping with our kitchen makeover! We love it!
